Dear Readers,
Many times, when we are confronted with doubts from another person, with regards to certain events or issues, we are always quick to dismiss the doubts, by saying I promise.
Well, what has God got to said to that vow that we make.
In the book of Matthew in chapter 5, we were told that we shall not swear falsely,but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.
But, God specifically told us not to swear at all: neither in heaven, on earth or over anything.
But, let your " Yes" be " Yes", and your " No" be 'No".
For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Well, people would said that; often times, what we said might not be the truth. Yes, we may not know for sure, whether it is the truth, but sure the truth will one day be revealed.
Let me put it this way, the Lord instructed us that in whatever we say and do, we say or do it in sincerity and in truth.
For whatever is false, we deceived ourselves.
YES, ALL WILL BE TRUE, ONLY WHEN; IN WHATEVER WE DO , WE DO IT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD.!!! Amen.
